We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Spatial GIS Developer to join our team.

    Job Responsibilities
      Some high-level duties include but are not limited to:
    • Expertise in web development (full stack) using HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, OpenLayers, Leaflet, Angular, and Node.js.
    • Experience working with both object relational database like PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
    • Experience with open source geo-spatial products like GeoServer, Mapbox, Tileserver, QGIS and other tools.
    • Ability to design and develop geospatial visualization in both 2D and 3D.
    • Experience working with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) specification like WFS, WMS and WCS.
    • Ability to manage GIS data within at least one of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL database environments.
    • Experience with Agile and Kanban development environment.
    • Ability to use environmental data and developing applications for visualization, analysis, and presentation of environmental data.
    • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, work independently, and quick turnaround maps, application prototypes or deliverables.
    • Working in an agile team environment with work managed in Sprints with team and client.
    Required Skills

    • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
    Experience/Qualifications
    • 8+ years of relevant experience.
    • At least 5 years of GIS development experience.
    • Experience with at least two or more programming languages.
    • Ability to qualify for specific labor categories for a given client.
    Education
    • Position requires BS/BA degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 10 years of exerience OR a MS/MA degree in STEM discipline with 8 years of experience.
