iCatalyst Program Planning Steps
We enable our clients to successfully manage large-scale programs/investments through our in-depth understanding of OMB policies and regulations, and FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS). We support our clients in the development and submission of Exhibit 300s/53s and budget justification to the FAA Joint Resource Council (JRC). Our structured, comprehensive project management practice with particular attention to employing risk mitigation strategies keeps investment programs on track for the submission of architecture artifacts which serve as entrance criteria for continued funding. Our objective is to ensure that the program consistently meets its stated requirements while adhering to the schedule and budget. We specialize in requirements scoping and development, IT investment performance management and evaluation, risk assessment and analysis, program planning and time schedule management, project planning, and quality assurance and testing. We use tools such as MS Project, IBM DOORS, IBM Focal Point, MS Visio and MS SharePoint to achieve our objectives.
Our focus is on well-considered resource allocation to various activities and we measure cost to resource allocation on a continuous basis to ensure delivery of the required artifacts on time and on budget by measuring and controlling the cost of delivery for each artifact.
We apply the same rigor in the project management and execution of program reviews of IT applications. Our practice of developing detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to measure and track milestone progress and monitor schedules enables us to successfully carry out program reviews of multiple IT applications concurrently. Multiple checkpoints during the reviews ensure that all activities are within cost, on schedule and meet respective performance goals.
